Mathias Van Duüren is a Belgian Director and Cinematographer who has spent years between Portugal and Belgium, alongside projects around the world. His work moves between Commercials, Fashion, Music, Film, Luxury, Social Content and beyond.

Starting in the industry at 18 without a traditional film school background, he built his craft on set, learning through experience and taking on different hats, from camera and on-set crew to production and post-production. With a hands-on and multifunctional approach to filmmaking, he can communicate naturally with larger teams, understanding the needs and language of each department, while remaining equally comfortable operating in a micro-team when a project calls for it.

Now working primarily as a young Director and Cinematographer, he looks for the story and identity within an idea, shaping it into a distinct visual world. His work is driven by a strong visual instinct and a deep connection to music and rhythm, with a focus on image, emotion, atmosphere and sound.
